2. What personal data is processed and how do BAHR use this information?
When you subscribe to our newsletters and invitations etc. on our website you will be asked to provide your e-mail, first name, surname and company. You may also choose between different topics and areas of interests, allowing BAHR to ensure that you receive updates that meet your preferences. Your personal data will only be used to send you newsletters, information regarding our services and other updates per e-mail.
You may also register for seminars and events on the website. To register you will be asked to provide your first name, surname, e-mail and company. This personal data is only used to confirm your registration and to invite you to other relevant seminars and events, as well as follow-up in connection with such events. In the invitation it is informed that you, upon registration, will receive an e-mail in the days following the event asking you to provide feedback. The survey is conducted on an anonymous basis and involves a few questions regarding your experience, the presentation and if you would be interested in attending similar events in the future. The survey is voluntary.
The legal grounds are BAHR’s legitimate interest in distributing information and marketing enquiries to clients and connections to inform about news and events or voluntary consent from the receiving party.
3. Who do BAHR share your personal data with?
3.1 Data processors
BAHR will only share your personal data with third parties if these parties deliver services within maintenance and other technical/digital/ICT solutions to BAHR. To secure your personal data and privacy we have signed data processor agreements with these parties to ensure that your data is not used for any other purpose than what we have agreed with you.
Our use of data processors may result in personal data being transferred to data processors located outside of the EEA. This means that personal data may be transferred to a country with a regulation that does not ensure the same level of protection of personal data as the regulation in Norway. In order to ensure your privacy, such transfer will only take place in accordance with the applicable data protection regulation, for example by using contractual arrangements approved under the GDPR.
3.2 Other third-parties
BAHR will not allow for any third-party usage of your personal data unless there is a legal basis for this transfer. An example of a legal ground is if we have explicit consent from you, if the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party, to establish an agreement with you or because we are required by law to share the data.
4. Your rights
You are entitled to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data processed by us. Furthermore, you have the right to request restriction of and object to processing of personal data and the right to data portability.
If our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may at any time revoke your consent by contacting BAHR’s marketing department by e–mail on firstname.lastname@example.org.
5. Deletion of personal data
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary given the purpose of the processing.
We will also delete your personal data immediately if you withdraw your consent. If the ground for processing is our legitimate interest, the personal data will be deleted when the basis for the legitimate interest no longer exists.
Subscribers of our newsletters, invitations and updates may at any given time inform BAHR that they do not want to receive future distributions. If you no longer want to receive newsletters, updates and invitations, you can click on the “unsubscribe link” in the footer of all newsletters/invitations to complete a deregistration form that will allow you to unsubscribe to future distributions. It is also possible to unsubscribe to particular areas of interest in the same form. When unsubscribing to our newsletters and invitations all your personal data will be deleted from our system.
