Lisa Marie Opdahl is a Partner in BAHR’s OCEAN group. Together with Silje Remøy, she heads our Fisheries and Aquaculture team. Lisa’s practice covers fisheries, aquaculture, shipping & offshore and other maritime industries. She assists with a broad range of M&A and corporate matters, commercial contracts, regulatory and sustainability issues in the maritime industries, with a particular focus on fisheries and aquaculture. Recent transactions include advising SalMar ASA in connection with their merger with Norway Royal Salmon ASA and acquisition of NTS ASA and acting for Aker Capital AS in the creation of a strategic partnership with SalMar to establish global offshore aquaculture company SalMar Aker Ocean AS.

Lisa also has extensive experience with traditional shipping and offshore matters such as newbuilding contracts, sale and purchase of vessels, sale- and leaseback and charter parties. Her career at BAHR includes a secondment to a large, international shipping company as part of the in-house legal team where she advised on joint ventures, vessel acquisitions and newbuilds as well as financing and operational matters, gaining practical industry experience.
