Jens Naas-Bibow appointed new BAHR partner

Naas-Bibow has a distinguished career spanning over 20 years, during which he has worked on reforms of regulatory frameworks and the regulation of renewable energy companies through the Norwegian Energy Act and underlying regulations and license terms. Naas-Bibow also advises on the regulatory regime for hydropower and represents clients in appraisal and expropriation matters before the courts. He has extensive experience in energy sector litigation, including several high-profile wind power cases and legal actions regarding the validity of licenses and other decisions from regulatory authorities. Additionally, he provides strategic advice pertaining to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring within the renewables sector.

Naas-Bibow comes from 1.5 Advokatfirma, a niche firm he established in 2021. Prior to this, he spent 20 years at Thommessen, where he served 13 years as a partner and head of the firm’s renewables department. Naas-Bibow was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 2011.
