HitecVision’s exit from Vår Energi marks the culmination of nearly 15 years of value creation

Vår Energi is the result of the 2016 merger of HitecVision’s portfolio companies Core Energy, Spike Exploration and Pure E&P, along with additional co-investor financing for the acquisition of ExxonMobil’s operated portfolio on the Norwegian Continental Shelf by the combined entity, then named Point Resources. In 2018, Point Resources merged with Eni’s Norwegian subsidiary, Eni Norge, forming Vår Energi. With Core, Spike, and Pure founded between 2010 and 2015, the exit from Vår Energi marks the culmination of nearly 15 years of value-creating ownership, showcasing HitecVision’s enormous drive, determination, and unwavering focus.
