Anne is a Partner in BAHR’s OCEAN group. She has broad experience from advising on M&A and corporate matters, company law, governance, joint ventures and restructurings within the shipping, offshore and aquaculture markets, as well as other industry areas. She also has extensive experience on traditional shipping and offshore transactions such as sale and purchase of vessels, sale leaseback, charter parties and construction contracts. She advices both listed and unlisted companies.
Anne focuses on shipping and offshore transactions, as well as traditional shipping and offshore matters. She has advised on inter alia the sale by Aker Capital of its shares in Ocean Yield ASA to KKR, the acquisition by Frontline of 10 suezmax tankers from Trafigura, the joint venture between FMSI and Clean Marine, and the sale by Østensjø Rederi of 50% of its offshore wind company, Edda Wind, to Wilh. Wilhelmsen.
Anne combines her shipping practice with a general corporate and M&A practice, and has advised on a number of M&A transactions over the years. This includes the acquisition by Nordea Bank Abp of Gjensidige Bank ASA and SG Finans AS.
Anne is recognized as a leading shipping lawyer in her generation in national and international ratings. She is also ranked by the Norwegian business magazine Kapital in their latest edition of “40 under 40: the new stars in business in Norway”. Anne is a member of the Board of Directors of BAHR.
