Caroline is a Specialist Partner in BAHR’s Asset Management & Private Equity practice group. She specialises in M&A and transaction-related matters within asset management and private equity, advising leading asset managers and investment firms on transactions and strategic issues.
With nearly 20 years of M&A experience, Caroline has worked as both a private equity investment professional and a commercial advisor to top-tier private equity and investment firms. As part of an investment team, she led transactions across the entire investment cycle and multiple industries, overseeing sourcing, transaction structuring, negotiations, deal execution, and portfolio optimisation to drive long-term value through active ownership. Before joining BAHR, Caroline was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she advised leading Nordic, European, and global private equity firms on M&A strategy, buy-side and sell-side transactions, and post-transaction value creation for portfolio companies.
In addition, Caroline has board experience, offering valuable insights into corporate governance, strategic decision-making, and value creation from a board perspective.
Her expertise across the full investment lifecycle and understanding of the commercial aspects of a deal enable her to take a strategic and practical approach to M&A.
