Erik is one of Norway’s foremost experts on company law. He has extensive experience with disputes in the area of company law, including shareholder conflicts, directors’ liability, and disputes over pre-emption rights, consent refusals, and squeeze-outs.

Erik has significant experience with venture capital investments and M&A transactions. Among other things, he led BAHR’s team in the merger between PGS ASA and TGS ASA in 2024 with a transaction value of NOK 9.3 billion. His expertise also extends to corporate restructuring, including the successful restructuring of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA.

Moreover, he is a leading lawyer in real estate transactions. He led BAHR’s team when Schage Eiendom sold Stortorvet 7 to KLP in 2024, the largest transaction of a single property in Norway since 2020. On behalf of the Norwegian Association of Real Estate Agents, he is the main person responsible for the preparation of the so-called broker standards for the purchase of real estate companies and real estate as well as forward transactions.

He regularly advises both listed and unlisted companies on the issuance of convertible loans and preference capital.
