Geir is a partner with focus on M&A and capital markets. He assists domestic and foreign clientsin a variety of different transactions, from public to private M&A, equity investments, generalcorporate law matters and securities law issues for publicly listed clients. He frequently adviseslarge national or global industrial companies, private equity and venture funds in Norway andelsewhere, as well as investment banks and family offices. He provides advice within a range ofsectors, with particular experience with energy and technology clients.​

Geir is a 1998 graduate of the Faculty of law of the University of Oslo ranking 2nd in his class, andhe obtained a LL.M. law degree from University of Cambridge in 2002.
