Silje is a Specialist Partner in BAHR’s OCEAN group. Together with Lisa Marie Opdahl, she is head of BAHR’s fisheries and aquaculture team. Silje has 15 years’ experience as a lawyer, of which 5 years’ experience as an in-house lawyer in Norway’s leading business within the wild fish and salmon industry. Her background has given Silje practically insight and understanding of the operational issues facing both the wild fish industry and the fish farming industry. Silje advice seafood companies daily on operational legal issues including entering into contracts, regulatory matters, employment law and corporate law. Silje also works in close cooperation with BAHR’s transaction/M&A department.
Silje is a member of the Norwegian Disciplinary Committee.
