Thomas advises clients on complex EU and Danish law, regulatory and dispute-related matters, particularly where regulation becomes business-critical in strategic transactions, investments, major projects, interactions with public authorities or national and international disputes.
His work often involves matters with significant financial, commercial or cross-border dimensions, including energy, infrastructure, tech, defence, and dual-use, public funding and other regulated or strategically important sectors.
His transactional experience spans some of the largest and most complex transactions and investments ever completed with a Danish nexus.
In addition, Thomas is also a highly experienced litigator and dispute resolution expert having been involved in a significant number of high-stakes matters and achieved several landmark wins in various fora during his career.
He regularly represents clients in complex contentious matters – especially regulatory and commercial matters – before the Danish courts, national and international arbitral tribunals, the EU Courts, the European Commission, the EFTA Surveillance Authority and various national administrative authorities and tribunals.
Thomas has also authored several peer-reviewed articles on various EU law matters in different international publications.
Before joining BAHR, Thomas was a partner in another law firm in Copenhagen.
