Tobias’s principal areas of work are private M&A, private equity, and venture capital. Tobias has extensive experience in M&A transactions with a special focus on representing private equity clients, and he has worked for many of the world’s leading financial sponsors, including KKR, EQT, Nordic Capital, Waterland, Triton, THL, Polaris, Axcel, FSN and Sycamore Partners. He is among Denmark’s most active M&A lawyers in the past 15 years, according to Mergermarket, and is individually ranked by Legal 500 as a Leading Partner within M&A and is also individually ranked within M&A in Chambers Global. Tobias has a strong international focus and he has previously worked as a foreign attorney in the M&A department of the leading UK law firm, Travers Smith.

Tobias is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen from 2010, and he also holds a graduate degree in business administration from Copenhagen Business School. He has previously been an external lecturer in M&A at the University of Copenhagen and he is also the author of more than 10 peer-reviewed legal journal articles within M&A and related topics. He is a frequently used public speaker on subjects related to M&A.
