Trond Lingaas is a Specialist Partner in BAHR’s Energy and Climate Change group. Trond Lingaas advises energy and infrastructure clients, with particular emphasis on the oil and gas sector. His special expertise includes M&A, integration projects, industry contracts, contract negotiations, regulatory issues, government relations, and projects.
He has extensive experience from domestic and international energy and infrastructure transactions and has advised on many of the largest and most complex transactions in Norway. Trond also works with carbon capture and storage and disputes. He also has in-house experience with upstream oil and gas activities through secondments to the legal departments of Total E&P Norge AS and BP Norge AS.
He is recognised in both Chambers Europe and Chambers Global for his work in the oil and gas sector. He is also highlighted as a “Next Generation Partner” in Legal 500 and has been awarded the Talent of the Year award in the Oil and Gas category in Finansavisen‘s annual lawyer survey. Trond also initiated and heads BAHR’s AI Forum, a meeting place for knowledge exchange within artificial intelligence and legal services.
